The Etiquette of Trustworthiness

Summary

Among the praiseworthy virtues is safeguarding the property and confidences of fellow human beings and members of one’s faith. In the teachings on trustworthiness, the importance and consequences of this duty have been expressed through the words of the Qur’an and the Prophet’s Household. According to the guidance of the leaders of Islam, there is no allowance for betrayal in matters of trust, regardless of the person involved.
